PS:影片拍摄完成后,曾经放映给NASA(美国国家航空和宇宙航行局)的科学家看。 22/11/2009 Nov 22Most days of the year are unremarkable. They begin, and they end, with no lasting memories made in between. Most days have no impact on the course of a life.
Nov 22 is a Sunday... (500) Days of Summer![]() This is not a love story. This is a story about love. 14/11/2009 Mary.and. 05/11/2009 My Sister's Keeper![]() Hope you can feel what I feel about this story. Life is not so easy, but it's truly amazing. So devote yourself and lead it. Other it will be late.

Thirsty for something red and sweet? The Clinic at Clarke Quay quenches your darkest medicinal desires.
There are plenty of Singapore bars, pubs and lounges, but precious few come with both awesome drinks and engaging personality. Camp Bar @ House A former army camp, Camp Bar @ House does its military heritage proud with a platoon of bartenders who are as serious about serving perfect cocktails as boot camp drill sergeants are about breaking the wills of new recruits. Fresh juices and creative presentation are just part of the everyday code. Care for a Jamaican Black Strap? Here you can take a swig from a bottle in a brown bag, Captain Jack Sparrow-style. After the drinking mission is over, weary commandos can march to Spa Esprit, a plush spa located on the second level.
House specialty: The Mintberry Gin Fizz -- gin, fresh berries, mint, lemon juice, gomme, berry liqueur, soda -- comes in a jam jar.
El–Sheikh More restaurant than bar, El-Sheikh has Egyptian fare and decor straight out of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves." Just off Arab Street, guests eat outdoors or lounge indoors among scattered divans while smoking on shishas (Egyptian hookahs). Coffee drinkers bored with the same-old-same-old can get a new kick with a cup of traditional Lebanese coffee, which has a thick texture and is flavored with cardamom.
House specialty: The hookahs are popular and flavors can be mixed on request. Peach and grape smoke anyone?
18 Pahang Street tel +65 6296 9116 www.elsheikhrestaurant.com Yello Jello Retrobar It’s Beatlemania all over at Yello Jello Retrobar. Inspired by “Yellow Submarine,” this psychedelic bar celebrates John, Paul, George and rock's most underrated drummer by playing groovy remixes and disco-funk mashups. Resident band Retro Groove belts out classic rock 'n' roll covers. Happiness may be a warm gun, but trippy nostalgia gets the smiles returning to their faces at this unique Singapore bar.
House specialty: The tangy Yello Zingy combines pineapple with grenadine and plum wine. Much better than it sounds.
Jazz@Southbridge Jazz@Southbridge’s intimate interior lets you know the minute you walk in that this place is meant for authentic jazz fans and musicians steeped in the soulful tradition of generations past. With a regular lineup of local and foreign musicians, the quality of music here is consistently astounding. House specialty: A bottle of Suntory Vintage Malt (1980) goes for S$1,300. It's no longer in production and there are reportedly only a handful of bottles left in the world.
The Clinic In the middle of Clarke Quay, The Clinic looks like a posh laboratory decorated by Doctor Giggles -- IV stands, test tubes and other quirky medical paraphernalia provide the operative ambience. Down your shots from a syringe or have your food served in kidney-shaped bed pans and on surgical trays. Enjoy it all from the comfort of your wheelchair.
House specialty: The novelty drink to end all novelty drinks -- Sex on the Drip. And, yes, it comes in an intravenous drip bag.
Eskibar Who says you can’t freeze your butt off in a tropical country? Eskibar transports you to the arctic where you can chill like an Eskimo, without the bothersome igloo building and seal hunting. Housed in an industrial freezer, temperatures in this Singapore bar can range from minus-five to just above zero degrees Celsius. Resist the urge to lick the inviting cold metal surfaces.
House specialty: With lychee and blue Curacao, the Eski Blue is a winner.
12/10/2009 Port O'Brien Featured in Levi's Video! Are Skinny Jeans Still In?Yes S.K.I.N.N.Y. skinny jeans. They're basically very tight jeans which become even tighter towards the foot. But they look great.
About 2 weeks ago, GK and I wen to Orchard ICON for shopping, we each bought a skinny Levis Jeans. For those that believe in the evolution of fashion, skinny jeans are on their way out the door. Or are they?
While it can be said that there are certainly jeans that are more popular than others at any given time, classic cuts, like the skinny, never fully go out of style. Seriously! Take a look back through fashion history and you'll see that there is a certain way of dress that is always "in," no matter what's going on in the trend world. This way of dress is known as "style." Introduce yourself to it. Get to know it. ![]() The Skinny on Skinny Jeans 11/10/2009 The longest way
The Longest Way 1.0 - one year walk/beard grow time lapse from Christoph Rehage on Vimeo. November 9th 2007 - November 13th 2008 one year on foot - 4646km through China unlimited beard & hair growth thelongestway.com musical score by the kingpins ( myspace.com/theoneandonlykingpins ) and zhu fengbo Additional info from Christoph Rehage - I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the desert of Gobi, and then decided to stop walking for now. - All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi has been completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things. - I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful. - Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues. - The songs I used in the video are 1) Zhu Fengbo - "Olive Tree" and 2) The Kingpins - "L'aventurier" - visit the Kingpins website if you want to know more, they are very cool I think. - This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting. - The core of this project is in fact my website "www.thelongestway.com" where I have posted my extensive travel diary, starting from day 1 (Nov 9th 2007) and describing every single day until the end one year later. |
