Other it will be late. 10/26/2009 わたしってブスだったの？记得很久以前，日剧刚刚开始风靡的时候，在上海电视台看过一部松田圣子主演的连续剧叫做《我是一个丑女人吗？》，十二万分的好看，讲的是一个超强广告文案女的故事。虽然里面大多数的人名都已经不记得了，但里面的人物各个形象鲜明让人难以忘怀。松田圣子试演的女主人公叫做夕子，由于性格倔强能力超强被那些妒嫉的男男女女叫做“章鱼”，即便是遇到种种挫折依然向前猛冲，甚至不惜在男厕所等待他方的决策人员，一直是一副自信满满的样子。
对片头的印象更深一些：看她娇小玲珑的身躯，不修边幅的邋遢模样，蓬着一头卷发下是张倔强脸孔。清晨上班途中常常怕误点一头摔倒在天桥上，小嘴一撇，忙不迭地拍拍衣服，爬起来继续向前冲。横冲直撞的行事作风，不达目标心不死，口直心快不圆滑，经常得罪人。对她，男人们伪善奉承，女人们避而远之。虽然事业成功，但硬是被好朋友摆了一道，不得不离开公司自己开了家广告公司From Thirty。
网上一直也没搜到那里有下载的，今天在youtube挖到里面主题曲，先重温一下片头吧！夕子并非毫不世故，也懂得见好就收，她是俗气却不失真诚地活着。From Thirty，不知道我到了30岁还会不会有她那样的激情呢？

Fresh juices and creative presentation are just part of the everyday code. Care for a Jamaican Black Strap? Here you can take a swig from a bottle in a brown bag, Captain Jack Sparrow-style. After the drinking mission is over, weary commandos can march to Spa Esprit, a plush spa located on the second level.
House specialty: The Mintberry Gin Fizz -- gin, fresh berries, mint, lemon juice, gomme, berry liqueur, soda -- comes in a jam jar.
El–Sheikh More restaurant than bar, El-Sheikh has Egyptian fare and decor straight out of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves." Just off Arab Street, guests eat outdoors or lounge indoors among scattered divans while smoking on shishas (Egyptian hookahs). Coffee drinkers bored with the same-old-same-old can get a new kick with a cup of traditional Lebanese coffee, which has a thick texture and is flavored with cardamom.
House specialty: The hookahs are popular and flavors can be mixed on request. Peach and grape smoke anyone?

Inspired by “Yellow Submarine,” this psychedelic bar celebrates John, Paul, George and rock's most underrated drummer by playing groovy remixes and disco-funk mashups. Resident band Retro Groove belts out classic rock 'n' roll covers. Happiness may be a warm gun, but trippy nostalgia gets the smiles returning to their faces at this unique Singapore bar.
House specialty: The tangy Yello Zingy combines pineapple with grenadine and plum wine. Much better than it sounds.
Jazz@Southbridge Jazz@Southbridge’s intimate interior lets you know the minute you walk in that this place is meant for authentic jazz fans and musicians steeped in the soulful tradition of generations past. With a regular lineup of local and foreign musicians, the quality of music here is consistently astounding. The well-stocked bar includes a selection of whiskys and single-malt liquors, such as Lagavulin 21 year old and Glenfarclas 1960.
House specialty: A bottle of Suntory Vintage Malt (1980) goes for S$1,300. It's no longer in production and there are reportedly only a handful of bottles left in the world.
The Clinic In the middle of Clarke Quay, The Clinic looks like a posh laboratory decorated by Doctor Giggles -- IV stands, test tubes and other quirky medical paraphernalia provide the operative ambience. Down your shots from a syringe or have your food served in kidney-shaped bed pans and on surgical trays. Enjoy it all from the comfort of your wheelchair.
House specialty: The novelty drink to end all novelty drinks -- Sex on the Drip. And, yes, it comes in an intravenous drip bag.
Eskibar Who says you can’t freeze your butt off in a tropical country? Eskibar transports you to the arctic where you can chill like an Eskimo, without the bothersome igloo building and seal hunting. Housed in an industrial freezer, temperatures in this Singapore bar can range from minus-five to just above zero degrees Celsius. Resist the urge to lick the inviting cold metal surfaces.
House specialty: With lychee and blue Curacao, the Eski Blue is a winner.

About 2 weeks ago, GK and I wen to Orchard ICON for shopping, we each bought a skinny Levis Jeans. For those that believe in the evolution of fashion, skinny jeans are on their way out the door. Or are they?
